Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a non-ablative, all natural cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled micro injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. We use the E-DermaStamp by Dermaroller® which is a microneedling device licensed by Health Canada. While microneedling is effective as a standalone treatment, at Pulse Skin & Laser Clinic we also like to combine it with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) to create optimal results.
