At Erindale Animal Hospital we offer a wide variety of routine and advanced diagnostic services to help us better understand your pet’s health concerns. Our on-site laboratory makes it possible for test results to be available within minutes so a treatment plan can be created. Because our animal companions cannot speak, they can’t tell us when something is bothering them. Many animals hide the signs of illness for long periods of time while the condition is able to progress, making it more difficult to treat. ​ We also offer advanced imaging services such as digital x-rays and ultrasound that provide us with a non-invasive method of evaluating the inside of your pet’s body. Images from these diagnostics can be analyzed in real time by one of our veterinarians or sent electronically to a team of specialists when necessary. Our diagnostic laboratory can perform: • Blood chemistry panel • Complete blood count (CBC) • Kidney panel • Liver panel • Thyroid test • Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) testing • Heart worm & tick bourne illness test • Pancreatic tests • Urinalysis • Fecal examination • Minor cytology
