A dental veneer acts as a thin layer or a shell, placed xfover an existing tooth usually to cover a chipped tooth or discolouration. It's usually made of either composite resin or dental porcelain. At City Heights Dental Centre, we only use quality materials (porcelain, zirconia or e-max) for our dental veneers as they are stronger than composite resin veneers, and do not stain nor do they change colour over time. The veneers are bonded to the front of the tooth to enhance the appearance of your smile. They are permanently placed.
