Description

Consumer-directed services (CDS), although similar in nature to in-home services, are provided to persons with a physical disability and do not include any task performed by a licensed professional. A participant of CDS must be able to direct the care planning process and hire an attendant. In general, CDS consists of personal care (bathing, cleaning, and meal preparation).With CDS you are able to have a close relative except for spouse and children care for you.
